That man, 53-year-old Julian Faulkner, had been visiting the store asking for food, water, and supplies. Saini and other employees at the Chevron helped Faulkner, but he later turned on 25-year-old Saini and killed him by beating him with a hammer to death.

Local law enforcement authorities reported that Surani, of Alpharetta, was killed inside of the store by being gunned down during an armed robbery, as Surani was arranging merchandise in the store. The terrible attack occurred at around 3:00 a.m. Witnesses indicated that after the armed robbers killed Surani, they stole money from the cash register and left the BP Gas Station.
