Georgia Six Flags Employee Killed after Ejected from Work Van

Reports indicate that the park’s “scare actors,” who work during the Halloween Fright Fest, were costumed-up and ready to scare and interact with guests that evening, and they were loaded into a cargo van to be driven to their respective work locations. One employee, who did not want to be named, noted that, “The actors were always transported in the vans because they don’t want actors in makeup going through different parts of the park, so they go behind the scenes.” On this evening, a total of seven park actors rode in the Ford Econoline van, with no seats or seat belts. At some point, the van maneuvered in the park and Crook was ejected from the van. Crook sustained serious head injuries in the van accident, and she died at the hospital after being rushed there for medical treatment.

As for Crook, a park employee said, “I know everyone who spent time with her, truly loved her. She really had such a team behind at all times and brought a lot of joy to a lot of different people. I just really hope everyone is sending some good energy to Andrea’s family.” Six Flags also released a statement to the public stating, “Our hearts and our thoughts are extended to the family of the employee as well as all those impacted by this tragic automobile accident; we are heartbroken.”
